Dermal Fillers
What Are Dermal Fillers?
As we age our face loses volume. Dermal Fillers can be used on your face to combat the effects of your ageing by replacing the fat and bone loss that causes sunken eyes, flat cheeks, and jowls.
Dermal fillers are cosmetic injections designed to replace volume loss. Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a compound naturally produced in the body. It gives young skin its elasticity and volume, for instance. Hyaluronic Acid is the most commonly used filler.
Dermal fillers will reduce fine lines and wrinkles as well as lift and contour the face.
When Will I Notice a Difference?
The results are immediately noticeable with fillers. Over time the filler integrates with your own tissue, and results will last anywhere between 6- 18 months depending on the type of filler, the quality and quantity of filler, and your metabolism.
